Hi,

I simulated a simple case of flow past flat plate using simpleFoam 2D.

Re is 100

It starts with slip BC 1st before encountering the flat plate wall.

I enabled the calculation of wall shear stress too.

However, the results on Paraview shows that the wall shear stress x is negative.

May I know why this is so? Shouldn't it be positive? There's no flow separation.

I have attached a figure
