Hi, I have a 2D geometry (x-y plane) and work with multiphase solver. I want to get the x-weighted average of phase fraction at each level of y. Then, I want to repeat that for every time step. I would appreciate any hints on how I can do that in openFoam. Thanks.

because no one answered for some time i want to share a workaround with paraview and hope it will be sufficient for you analysis until someone else suggests a smarter and faster solution:
open your case with paraview, create slices at different heights and use the filter 'integrate variables', select your alpha and divide it by the area of the slice, which is also calculated with the same filter. |
