Hello,
I am simulating a n-Heptane (C7H16) injection into a cubic chamber, based on experimental data from the Experimental Combustion Network, Sandia National Laboratories. I ran different meshes and made up a shortlist. In order to make the best choice, I wanted to compare my results not only to the experimental results of liquid penetration length, but also to the vapor penetration length. The former wasn't a problem at all to plot, but the latter gives me some headaches at the moment. As i already ran the simulations I am looking for a post processing solution. I am struggling to identify the values of importance from my time directories. The C7H16 file contains the volScalarField for all the cells, but which values do I need? I dont get the structure of that file. I need the values along the x-axis, which is also the axis of injection in my mesh. Can someone give me any advice? I am new to OpenFOAM, and here I really can't go further without any help. I might as well be on the completely wrong path. Greetings, Roman |
