Hello, I am completing LES simulations on a jet in OpenFOAM 6.
Since I must collect a lot of temporal data, I am using the "#includeFunc surfaces" to save vtk cutting planes during run time so I can use paraview to generate visualisations. However, a cutting plane will decompose my structured hex mesh into a series of tets. This will similarly happen in paraview when taking a slice. However! If you take a crinkle cut/slice in paraview then the mesh is maintained. I am wondering if there is a way to make the "surfaces" func use produce a crinkle cut vtk file instead of the regular cutting plane file. Thanks! |

No way that I can think of, but interesting idea to discuss. I've opened an issue: https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop.../-/issues/1728 |
