Dear All,
I am new to this forum and a new user of OpenFOAM. I have carried out a transient two-dimensional OpenFOAM simulation. I have the results for different time instants in different folders. Now, I would like to extract data (velocity components and pressure) from a small specified portion of the computational domain for each time instant. Preferably, I would like to have the data in a file in the following format (for each time step): x y u v p where, 1st column: x-coordinate of the domain 2nd column: y-coordinate of the domain 3rd column: x-component of velocity at the location (x,y) 4th column: y-component of velocity at the location (x,y) 5th column: pressure at the location (x,y) By portion, I do not mean a line or a point. By portion, I mean a small specified 2D domain of the full computational domain. Please see the attached image. I would be grateful if you let me know how to extract the data of the specified 2D domain. Thank you for your time. |

Hi, I am wondering if you managed to do that.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Best Regards |
