Hello!
Due to my recent streamline problem with paraview(Paraview not showing streamlines) I tried to get streamlines with postProcess streamline utility. I used lineUniform, but streamlines are not uniform at all(1st and 2nd picture). In papers people are showing much better visualized streamlines(3rd picture). Decreasing nPoints are not helping either, I am getting incomplete streamlines in that case. I am also getting "particle initialised with a location outside of the mesh" error, which generates non-existing streamlines. So, how to get good visualized streamlines with postProcess streamline utility? Thank you in advance, Eren. |

I am also trying to use the streamline function object to write out data points for multiple streamlines in my pipe flow.
Everything is working except that I need to have a column in my output csv file as time for each data point. It seems like there is no option to get the variable time, right? Does anybody know any workaround? Note that when I use paraView to export streamline data, one variable is Integration time, which is what I need; but I prefer to use OpenFOAM streamline postprocessing tool for this purpose. Thanks |
