I am trying to post-process U data from a simulation in icoFoam to get the grad(U). I use the command
Code:
postProcess -latestTime -func 'grad(U)'
After running the above command I get the following warning.

PHP Code:
--> FOAM Warning :     functionObjects::grad grad(Ucannot find required object U of type volScalarField
--> FOAM Warning :     functionObjects::grad grad(Ucannot find required object U of type surfaceScalarField
P.s. I am calculating grad(U) to ultimately calculate the turbulent dissipation rate (\epsilon). Any help regarding this would be appreciated.
