Cannot visualize temperature field in nature convection case

Hello again dear foamers!
I am using buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam for a natural convection case, where left wall is heated in a square domain and dT=0.00005. I can visualize the U, velocity profile fits the original profile yet I can't see any temperature difference in the domain. I tried to change the scale(since it is reaaaally low) inside the paraFoam, still nothing. So I checked iteration folders, all the values inside the T files are 300(for all steps), which is internal field temperature(uniform), so there is no temperature change inside the computational domain. But, driving force is temperature difference so I have to see something. Any help would be great, Thanks. Eren. |

So I checked iteration folders again, both Temperature BC's are also shown as 300 K. But as I said one of them is actually 300.00005 K in my 0/T file. I can't think of any physical reason for this. It must be something else, like, OpenFoam does not take e-5 into account in iteration folders or something like that.

You would likely need to turn up the writePrecision field in controlDict
