Can anyone tell me what the point of action of the output of the 'forces' function object is? It provides the X,Y and Z component of pressure, viscous and porous force, but at what point? If I provide only one patch to the function, is it the centroid? Similarly if I proved multiple patches or a group? Can I get the coordinates of this point?

General
forces are vectors. vectors does not have an location / point.

So, I think you should tell us what you like to do and perhaps you get an answer.

Siassei,

I'm simulating flow over a torpedo (basically a cylinder with tapered edges and two tailfins on one end of it, located 90 degrees apart). I have two patchGroups, one with both fins and another with the body. Surely the point of action of the output of the 'forces' tool will change if I input just the fins vs both body and the fins right? So is this a force that would act at the center of pressure or whatever patches I input? That's what I meant by my earlier question.
