Dear foamers,
I am solving a laminar natural convection case with buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam in OF5. In order to obtain the Nusselt number at one of the walls, I have coded an application similar to NusseltCalc based in wallGradU and it works for the moment. My correlation for the Nusselt number includes the temperature gradient and a correction factor based on the local heat conductivity. Thus, I need to access this value locally (that is, per face). I guess this is possible by using one of the Thermo libraries (basicThermo, rhoThermo and so on) but I am not familiar neither with them nor with the syntax required to call them from a postprocessing application. Anyone can point me to the right direction? After trying almost everything and reading basically every post of this forum dealing with these topics I think I am more lost than before. Thanks in advance. |
