Dear Foamers,
Because I need to do analysis in a specific region of my LES simulation, i need to sample a sub-field of the cylinder mesh. The sampled field (volume) is like a smaller cylinder inside the current cylinder mesh. I have checked a lot on the Internet, couldn'd find a solution. It seems that the sample function only support the set and surface sampling. Any suggestions? Thanks lot! Best Litchy |

Hi Litchy,
I am now running across the same problem as you. Have you solved this problem? I know that 'volRegion' can be used for cellZone, but I can only get the volume-averaged value rather than the values for each cell in cellZone. Kind regards, Jin |
