Hi,

I didn't check any other solvers for similar behaviour but I was wondering what could be the reason for the log file of a rhoPorousSimpleFoam run to not have any statements related to residuals for components of velocity (Vx, Vy, Vz). A sample shown here:

Code:
Time = 99.6

smoothSolver: Solving for e, Initial residual = 1.24842e-05, Final residual = 1.06802e-06, No Iterations 6
GAMG: Solving for p, Initial residual = 0.160114, Final residual = 0.0069152, No Iterations 4
time step continuity errors : sum local = 22.6147, global = 7.58542, cumulative = 670.597
pressureControl: p max 356688
pressureControl: p min -28757.3
smoothSolver: Solving for epsilon, Initial residual = 0.00352868, Final residual = 0.000271387, No Iterations 12
smoothSolver: Solving for k, Initial residual = 0.00314641, Final residual = 0.000226256, No Iterations 12
ExecutionTime = 1419.42 s  ClockTime = 1421 s

Time = 99.8

smoothSolver: Solving for e, Initial residual = 1.19621e-05, Final residual = 1.02603e-06, No Iterations 6
GAMG: Solving for p, Initial residual = 0.176217, Final residual = 0.00653495, No Iterations 4
time step continuity errors : sum local = 20.0158, global = 6.15405, cumulative = 676.751
pressureControl: p max 356755
pressureControl: p min -24329
smoothSolver: Solving for epsilon, Initial residual = 0.0781304, Final residual = 0.00139665, No Iterations 2
smoothSolver: Solving for k, Initial residual = 0.12155, Final residual = 0.00112023, No Iterations 2
ExecutionTime = 1422.04 s  ClockTime = 1424 s
I realised this when I tried to use the foamLog function to plot the velocity residuals.

I also have the same problem with v2012. Anyone else is having the same issue?
