good morning everyone!,
I am trying to run a postprocesing folder which apparently should automatically run as teacher said, due to is included in the script. The thing is that it is not running, I was said in the lesson that if it does not run, we can use in the terminal: sample
Thas is what I did, and the terminal says:

sample has been superceded by the postProcess utility:
postProcess -func sample

To re-use existing 'sampleDict' files simply add the following entries:
type sets;
libs ("libsampling.so");
and run
postProcess -func sampleDict

Well, it seems easy but, to be honest I have trid everything and it doesnt work... I dont know what and more important where to do it. am I supposed to change sampleDict file?,or in the terminal?

I didnt find anything similar over here...
I do appreciate any help in advance

Regards

It's already some weeks old, but maybe still helps you..

Does it make a difference if you include
Quote:
libs ("libsampling.so");
at the bottom of your controlDict?

Also, have you tried just typing "sample" instead of "postProcess -func sample"?

Hi Oscar,

I'm trying to use sampleDict and get the same message:
To re-use existing 'sampleDict' files simply add the following entries:
type sets;
libs ("libsampling.so");
and run
postProcess -func sampleDict

Could you please let me know the changes you made to get it to work?

Thanks

Siddharth

What exactly does not work? Did you copy the text to the sampleDict file? How did u try to run sample? Maybe upload the file so we can help.

Sorry for the late reply.

It's working now. Made a mistake in the sampleDict file.
