Hi everyone,
I'm new to openfoam and trying to find reattachment length of turbulent flow over a backward facing step for my CFD project. the wall shear stress calculation is nearly OK and its almost zero in reattachment point but y+ calculation using yPlusRAS model is significantly different with the documentation. I am unable to figure out why this is happening. I have provided a few snapshots of y+ and wall shear stress plot for the sake of illustration. I've done the project with fluent too and I got good resluts for y+ which are in accordance with the documentation. I'll really appreciate it if anyone could help me with the problem Thanks in advance wallshearstress plot.jpg yplus plot.jpg |
