Hello,
I have just made with the simpleFoam solver and got a p-File with all pressures values for all aircraft faces. In the snappyHesMEshdict, I splitted the aircraft in two patches with the first patch(coarser mesh) being the fuselage and the second (finner mesh) being the wing , for I was more interested in the pressure distribution on the wing. By default , OP writes out the p-values for the whole aircraft . My question is how to go about letting OP writes out the p-values in a separate ascii-file only for the wing. Best Regards Gillers |

Use the "sample" utility together with a sampleDict to extract the information from the surface you want. There is an example in the motorbike tutorial.
