Hi All,
I was wondering if OF have a function to sample the data on the plane (which is located in the interior of the computational domain) during the runtime. For example, we would like to extract the pressure values on the plane x=5 mm? It seems that surfaceSampling is only for patch, not for an interiro plane. Anybody knows something about problems? Thank you. OFFO |

Please have a look at the sampling utility.

I would like to ask a similar question.
For sampling on surface we have vtk, raw, foamFile format. I want to do some modification in the raw file to have a suitable format to my output. So base on the example of the how to implement an application, i cpoy the raw file in src/sampling/sampledsurface/writers/raw to my User directory and perform the modification. Now my question is : How can link this modification to the sampleDict in the utility so that my modification can be taken to write my format when I use the utility sample fater run simulation. any help will be appreciated. Thanks |
