Hi all,
I am using the BuoyantBoussinesqPisoFoam solver which solves temperature convection by fvm::div(phi, T). However, I would like to derive the horizontal advection terms (x and y direction) as well as the subsidence (z-direction). When calculating the advection of heat by the mean wind with U * grad(T) the values seem to be too high and unrealistic. Probably it is necessary to calculate the terms using the mass flux through the cell faces, but I don't know how to do that. Hope that someone can help me on that. Cheers, Tobias |
