Beschlüsse vom OpenFOAM-Stammtisch United (Kick-Off) am 23./24.2.2011

Hi. Out of curiosity, will this meeting be german speaking only or it is open to internationals?

I'm thinking to attend, but i don't speach german. Will english be ok to understand?

Best regards.

Dear Sail,

I have been at quite a few Stammtisch meetings were the presenters have been asked to switch from German to English without prior notice. This is usually not a problem since most members of the OpenFOAM community live in the academic world or work for international companies. My slides are in English only!

The BoF sessions and informal parts are subject to luck, courtesy and awareness. My impression is that we all try to be perfect hosts, but some of us may fall into local dialects in which case things can be become tricky for native German speakers, too

Dear All,

As you can imagine there are things to organise for the upcoming Stammtisch United. Since we have slightly more overhead this time, we need a good idea of how many people will attend. Please help us by registering in the next few days either on the portal OR by dropping us an eMail.

There are also open presentation slots which we would like to fill.

Many Thanks,

Henrik
