Dear OpenFOAM users,
There is an webinar series on Elmer FEM in spring 2021. So far there has been general presentation by the Elmer team and now we are moving to contributed talks. The next webinar will be given already tomorrow at 14 CET by Juris Vencels, the main developer of EOF library that enables Elmer and OpenFOAM to be linked efficiently via MPI. Good parallel scalability has been demonstrated by the library. I thought this might be of interest for some OpenFOAM users who otherwise would not be bothered by finite elements. For magnetic field the Hcurl conforming basis functions offer some attractive features. The webinar is free of charge. You can sign up for it here: https://ssl.eventilla.com/event/ng1zO Best regards, Peter PS. I'm one of the developers of Elmer |
