This is a 2 day OpenFOAM® training designed to enable CFD users to start using OpenFOAM for practical computations. The course consists of a series of lectures that provide a general understanding of OpenFOAM topics followed by hands-on work. Along with the hands-on examples that show “how”, the lectures include discussion of “why”. The goal of this approach is to enable participants to independently use OpenFOAM in their daily work. No knowledge of the OpenFOAM library is assumed. Basic Linux commands and their relationship to hands-on examples are covered.

We will be hosting it at the University of Ottawa, in the heart of Ottawa within a few blocks of Parliament Hill, the Byward Market and the world famous Rideau Canal.
