Hi everyone,

If you like the OpenFOAM® Technology Primer, our blog posts or maybe the trainings we gave at an OpenFOAM® Workshop, you might want to visit our OpenFOAM® trainings that will take place 16.-19. 03. 2015. in Duisburg.

With the trainings we are aiming to support those users that want to get a solid grip on OpenFOAM®, but have limited time to do so. Academia or industry, I am sure we can all relate to that.

We have prepared a set of talks that keep us flexible in what topics we can cover, beacause that way we are trying to ensure that the participants learn the things they are most interested in.

The slides are filled with hands-on exercises, since it's the best way to learn a lot about OpenFOAM® in a short time period.

Anyway, you can find more information about the trainings on our website.

We hope to see you in Duisburg!

Hi there

I am currently looking for a course to attend. I clearly missed your latest offering, but would like to know if you plan on having another session this year? Advanced or programmer orientated.

Thanks

Hi Gareth,

we have just scheduled another round of trainings, Advanced and Programmer for this round, also in Duisburg.

The preliminary dates are on the website:

http://www.sourceflux.de/services/training/

We have added a list of preliminary dates for the next rounds.

The training descriptions have been updated to make it more clear what we cover, thanks to the feedback we got from our first round of participants in our first ever training.

Best regards,

Tomislav

Hi,

I followed the advanced training given by Jens and Tomislav in Duisburg earlier this week.

I work in the industry and I'm kind of used to "advanced" classes/training/courses regarding numerical simulation software.

I highly recommend the training by those two Sourceflux guys!

They won't just show you various example that work perfectly.
We have seen how to debug/modify various things (mesh,solver,...) , what's behind it, a bit of automatsation and a glimpse at how OpenFOAM is programmed.

Personally it was two really enriching days.

@bastieng

Thanks again Bastien for your support, and the constructive feedback on the training content! Following your advice we have modified the beginner/advanced syllabus to have even more applied work with OpenFOAM (intro + more automatization), and have ported the programming stuff to the programmer training.

Tomislav
