The Winter 2014 edition of the NUMAP-FOAM School shall be traditionally concluded with an open-acces mini-conference, presenting the results of the current generation of attandees. The mini-conference shall be held on Friday 7 March 2014 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb, Croatia. The conference is free and open to all - if you wish to attend, please register by sending an E-mail to NUMAP organisers.

This year's topics include embedded urban flow LES modelling in a built environment, detailed simulation of droplet generation in a sprinkler system, continuous casting modelling, simulation of drifting snow using a multiphase formulation, CFD simulation of a flow in the human heart, optimisation and parallelisation of a GPU solver, performance comparison of coupled density-based and pressure-based solvers in OpenFOAM and others.

Conference shall be held at the Hall E at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture , starting at 9.30 am.
