Hi,

a while ago I found here a tool to extract the stress components sigmaxx, sigmaxy... from the computed stress tensor from the time levels.
I Think it was bigPhil how shared the tool. Unfortunately I can't remember the tools name and so I can't find it Any hints on this tool appreciated |

I wrote myself a tool to calculate the strain components from the displacement field; this was useful to me since I have been using various versions of OpenFOAM over the years to model semiconductor nanostructures.
