Greetings,
I'm new to using snappyHexMesh - once the utility is run how do I view the resulting mesh? I've had a bit of a look through the forums and it seems paraView may have problems as the cells arn't hexs. The commands I entered were: blockMesh decomposePar foamJob -p -s snappyHexMesh reconstructParMesh -mergeTol 1e-06 -time 1 reconstructParMesh -mergeTol 1e-06 -time 2 reconstructParMesh -mergeTol 1e-06 -time 3 paraFoam But this just shows me the initial Mesh. Thanks |

I had partial success with the command (run form the case directory);
p { margin-bottom: 0.08in; } foamToVTK Then from paraViewer opening the resulting files in the VTK folder manually. However it still doesn't seem to be showing the internal mesh of the resulting bounding region, just the mesh of the surface of the .stl object. Still this is some progress. Baby steps and all that... |
