Hi There!
I've a question about sHM. My geom is a boxlike thing where I want to simulate the flow inside. Now i made a blockMesh which is bigger than the geom and from there a snappyHexMesh. Unfortunatly sHM is not deleting the blockMeshPatches which have correctly 0 faces. It's not really a Problem but more to define in the boundary files. Has anyone any advice how to get rid of the "empty" patches? Thanks n greets Jim |

Hi Jim,
have you find any solution since then ? Are you still encountering difficulties with meshing the interior of surfaces ? Thanks, Michael |

Just delete the entries in constant/polyMesh/boundary. Remember to decrease the number of patches specified at top in the same file.
