andras New Member Andras Horvath Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 29 Rep Power: 17	Dear foamers, I am trying to use refineMesh in parallel on the 'cavity' tutorial, running $ mpirun -np num_procs refineMesh -parallel after decomposing the case using the scotch method. checkMesh crashes and gives following MPI error: ---- [host:PID] * An error occurred in MPI_Recv [host:PID] * on communicator MPI_COMM_WORLD [host:PID] * MPI_ERR_TRUNCATE: message truncated [host:PID] * MPI_ERRORS_ARE_FATAL (your MPI job will now abort) ---- checkMesh -parallel and refineMesh (single) work just fine. This error occurs in OF-1.6 and OF-1.6.x. Needless to say it is the same with with more complicated meshes... Is this a case of PEBCAK ? Cheers, Andras
