Hello Foamers ,
I am doing a DNS on a heated channel flow using our in-house code.I was interested in doing the same problem in OpenFOAM. the mesh was generated using blockmesh . I fired up paraview and i cut a slice ( I gave some laminar profile using calculator filter ) and had a look using plotdata filter of some scalar against wall normal coordinates (U vs CoordY) It seems there is a strange mismatch between the patches at the center. I am attaching a screenshot of plot of the mesh generated using our inhouse code and using blockmesh . I am attaching my blockMeshDict as well . Can anybody explain it ? Is it normal ? what can i do to remove it ? Thanks in advance fu-ki-pa |
