Hello foamers ,,
i want to simulate boundary layer of turbulent flow around a 2D wind turbine airfoil ,, i think i have to make an STL file and use snappyHexMesh ,, is it the simplest way to do such thing and how to create the STL file i want with my wind turbine blade actual dimensions ,, can i make it using paraview ? actually i found that blockMesh can do that stuff (as in airFoil2D) , but it is much complicated than snappyHexMesh , and if i got the blockMesh of a given airfoil i can't change it to get my airfoil dimensions (large wind turbine section) does any one have a 2D wind turbine airfoil file in STL format ? |
