Hi,
I'm doing some tests between OpenFOAM and Fluent. I have an hybrid mesh generated with gambit (Tetra and Hexa) The Mesh conversion is ok, solving also ok. When I import the result in Paraview, and when I do a Slice, I saw that the core of the hexa-domain is full of tetra. I go back to OF, I do a checkMesh, and it returns that I have Hexaeders. So where come those tetra from? (Paraview, VTK conversion)

Thats a paraview issue. Paraview always triangulates cutting planes also for non-tetra meshes. CheckMesh is right. Enjoy.

Ok, Thanks.
I confirmed nevertheless that it's not an OpenFOAM issue, because the mesh size computed from OF matches the one from Gambit.
