Hello World.
I'm completely stuck with the installation of NETGEN. I want to mesh a STEP-Geometry so I got the CVS version of NETGEN, which should be compatible with the OpenCascade (STEP) stuff. So as to get the geometry into NETGEN I need OpenCascade. To get NETGEN I need Tcl/Tk and Tix. To get Tix running I need some special Tcl/Tk source files. To get the latter there is an instruction on http://tix.sourceforge.net/dist/curr.../UnixInst.html which I don't really understand. Are you kidding me? Maybe it's because my head is upside down with all the compiling, but this is exactly the reason why I'm not not getting used to a linux operating system. There is no straight line in using a single program. There is allways trouble compiling ... So is there anyone able to help me getting this Tix running, so I can get a step closer to using NETGEN? Sorry for my bad temper, but this is really annoying.
