Dear all,
can anybody help me on how the stitchmesh utility works ?

I've tried to create a hex gmsh mesh in order to understand. The mesh has been imported with gmshToFoam and the patches created look quite reasonable in paraFoam.

Executing "stitchmesh . stitchtest patch4 patch3
-partial" leads to an error message

"--> FOAM FATAL ERROR : Face 3683 reduced to less than 3 points. Topological/cutting error B.
Old face: 1(10) new face: 1(10)

I'll try to attach the case here.

Any help is appreciated.

Christian
