Hello,
I would like to convert Fluent binary meshes to OpenFOAM. Is there any opportunity to do this? I have Ansys Workbench Mechanical and I want to use the meshing tool of Workbench for meshing. In Ansys WB I can save the mesh as Fluent mesh, but only as binary. In my opinion there is no opportunity to save in Asnsys WB as Fluent ascii. Perhaps you know an external tool to convert Fluent binary to Fluent ascii? Thanks a lot Sammy |

Dear Samuel,
You can try this: save the binary mesh from Ansys WorkBench and open it in Tgrid and from Tgrid save the mesh in ascii format (uncheck the binary). Regards, Mahendra |
