Hi all,
I just started to use OpenFoam a few weeks ago. I performed a few tutorials and now try my own based on engineFoam. I generated a 3D combustion chamber mesh with gambit and exported it to foam with Piston, CylinderHead and liner patches. I rerun the engineFoam tutorial and the mesh is moving well but I would like to be able to automaticaly add/remove layers in order to avoid as much as possible the mesh deformation which leads to CFL crashes... Any Idea ? Thanks for your help greg |

I've found layeredEngineMesh in the engineMesh utilities and I'm trying to use it with dieselEngineFoam. Maybe this could help you to use addition/removal layers methods.
If you find a way to use it, give me your feed back ;-) Good work and thank you for your help! |
