hi all,
i was trying out shm and when i want to add layers i encounter a strange behaviour. the number of layers i can add is limited by the ratio between cell size next to the layers and thickness of the last layer: CellSize / ThicknessFirstLayer < 100. as long as this condition is ok i get the layers, if not the algo does not add one layer. so i am not able to create layers more than 20 or so because from there on the ratio hits this value. does anybody know anything about that? |

Generally, it is limited to 0.4 times the cell height closest to the boundary. You can make the calculations based on this metric. Making more than 10 layers is tricky with snappy.
