cylinder cut plane to wedge mesh

Hi,
I have simulated a flow in a cylindrical mesh. Now, I intend to run another solver (let's say something like scalarTransporFoam) on the resulting velocity distribution. I only need to execute the second solver on a cut plane of the cylinder. This would be equivalent to map an axisymmetric geometry (with the wedge BCs) with the cut plane data, and use this as mesh for the second simulation (diagram attached for clarity). Apparently, it is not as simple as I had thought:
Do you happen to know an easier solution ? Thanks in advance |
