[foamyMesh] About foamyHexMesh -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Alczem Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2021 Posts: 251 Rep Power: 6	Hey everyone, I have been toying with foamyHexMesh recently, and I really like the look of it, but my god is it slow and "buggy"! Even parallelized, the runtime is ridiculously longer than even snappyHexMesh, and more often than not, it crashes with some obscure message. Obviously, I do not fully grasp the influence of every setting in foamyHexMeshDict, so I was hoping someone could share some tips on propely using it. Has anyone ever used it successfully and can share their experience? Thanks!
