Hello yall, i'm a new at CFD and currently working on a graduation paper at my university.
My research is to do an analisis of the cp and cl in an external flow around NACA 4412 airfoil. I found an intersting video where the guy explain how to do the mesh and everything else of the NACA 0012: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2mO...el=AliIkhsanul i've tried to replicate this but realize that the version of the OpenFoam he uses is 17.06 and mine is version 10. I noticed that the boundary of the video is circular, and mine (version 10) is in a shape of a square. I've tried to copy the "boundary" past that he shows in the video to mine but when i did this the following messages appears: Cannot find patchField entry for Face1 file: /mnt/c/tutorials/AEROFOLIO/0/p/boundaryField from line 24 to line 41. From function void Foam::GeometricBoundaryField<Type, PatchField, GeoMesh>::readField(const Foam:imensionedField<TypeR, GeoMesh>&, const Foam::dictionary&) [with Type = double; PatchField = Foam::fvPatchField; GeoMesh = Foam::volMesh] in file /home/ubuntu/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-10/src/OpenFOAM/lnInclude/GeometricBoundaryField.C at line 187 I don't have idea to what that means, if anyone can help me i really aprecciate it. |
