I'm using SimScale to run an analysis of a turbine under steady-state external flow simulation. I want to use their hex-dominant parametric meshing which implements SnappyHexMesh by OpenFoam.
In standard meshing, I needed to create the external flow domain and delete the bodies of my geometry. It will create hollow parts in the flow domain representing the geometry. Does this apply to hex-dominant parametric mesh as well? Or do I just leave my geometry as it is? Below shows the comparisons: Deleted Bodies.png Not Deleted Bodies.png This is quite URGENT! Please help me. |
