Hey,
i need some help. I am currently working with OF11. My geometry is part of a bipolar plate inside a fuel cell. The case is a CHT setup with 3 regions (coolant, sheets and gases: from outer to inner). My goal is now, to couple the coolant patches on top with those on the bottom. I tried cyclic but sHM apparently cannot work on coupled patches.
What are alternatives to implement the coupling? Thanks in advance

I did some more testing.
When I try to couple the patches after sHM with “createPatch” I get an error that I do not understand. Unfortunately, I don’t have this error message now.
Then I tried the “nonConformalCyclic”. When I use “createNonConformalCouples” and then check the boundary file, the original patches are still there, together with a nonConformalCyclic and a nonConformalError Version. The latter two can defined in the 0/region/fields-files with the include-constraint trick but the original two still need some boundary-types. The simulation is running but I don’t know whether the coupling actual happened or not.
Lastly, I tried the mapped constraint type. I got it working with the mappedInternal-Version, but I don’t know if that’s good.
