snappyHexMesh fails but Fluent mesh works ?

Hello all,
I have a query in snappyHexMesh. When I imported Ansys Fluent mesh into OpenFOAM, gas turbine combustor runs well in a transient state and converges at t= 0.2s with time step of 1e-6. But with snappyHexMesh, the case struggles in a transient state, and at t=0.2s, the flow just gets initiated in the downstream, which is weird. I tried almost all the tricks playing with different parameters but nothing helps. Here is my snappyHexMeshDict and image attached. If someone has gone through the same, kindly share your thoughts please. I need some lead to get going. Thank you |

This is the result of Fluent mesh, captured at t = 0.002s
Whereas in OpenFOAM with same conditions, even when t = 0.006s, the flow doesn't come out from the swirler into the downstream. I checked till t = 0.2s in OpenFOAM. At t = 0.2s, the flow gets initiated in the downstream box but as per the experiment results, the convergence should happen at t = 0.2s. |
