Good morning (i am in seoul, LoL)
I have simple question. I already finished snappyHexMesh, and it took 40minutes. After that i realized i need to change slip wall condition to patch. If i change BC in blockMeshDict ,0/U, and 0/p... Do i need to do snappyHexMesh again? |

Better: you can to go the finished mesh in ../polyMesh/ and open the "boundary" file. Just look for your patch and change it from "wall" to "patch".
FYI: if you change in blockMesh, you would have to run the meshing again obviously. The finished mesh does not have any reference to any of the dicts it was build with. It just contains the information that form the mesh itself, e.g. where the points, edges, faces are and how the cells are connected and so on. In 0/U and 0/p you need to specify a BC that is compatible with the patch type you set in polyMesh/boundary. |
