Hi! I am trying to create a blockMesh of a expansion cylinder. It seems to have some problems, when I run "checkMesh" it says it has failed 5 mesh checks, so there must be something wrong. I leave the blockMeshDict, a picture of the vertices so it is easier to follow the dictionary and a picture of the geometry it creates, which seems to be okay but there must be something wrong because I have problems when running foamRun. Thanks

A good place to start is with "blockMesh -write-vtk". This will generate VTK files corresponding to your block structure, which you can then explore in paraview to verify that your blocks are actually what you thought you wanted.
As mentioned in https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...raview-plugins the "hover points on" function is really useful. |
