Hi,
I'm testing Snappy for meshing this helical mixer vessel: Screenshot_2023-12-31_09-00-23.jpg I'm using face zones for the highlighted helix surfaces (no thickness) then adding layers on them. However, my main question is about snapping to helix surface edges: I wonder is it possible to get a smooth snapping on the righmost (see below) curve where block mesh cells are not aligned with the helix edges? I've tried to relax quite a few quality criteria. There is some improvement but there are always some kinks. I suppose this is more of a beauty issue, but still. Here's an example: Screenshot_2023-12-31_09-01-55.jpg BR, Tuomo |
