Dear FOAMers,
I build a case using the geometry in this link After performing blockMesh -> surfaceFeatureExtract -> snappyHexMesh, it seems the mesh is Okay Using the checkMesh along or checkMesh -allTopology to check it, everything is fine. (See the attached checkMesh-allTopology.txt) However, using checkMesh -allGeometry, failed 3 mesh checks. (See the attached checkMesh-allGeometry.txt ) Though I've asked in another thread, and @tomf told me care about only checkMesh results. I've follow that suggestion, until recently. Some of my cases, it starts fluently, and after a long while, the solution becomes slower and slower. When I extract the temperature along the centerline, there's empty value on some cells near the exit. I wonder if it's the mesh quality issue?! If I should be concerned about the quality of the mesh created, what issue should I deal with first and how to deal with it? Thank you FOAMers! Best regards, Mactone |
