Ideas on how to make this mesh better?

Hi all!
Any ideas on how to make this mesh look better? The line to which elements are snapping is a feature edge that splits the surface into two. I had to do this so I could later extrude the bigger surface (and make tube wall in multi-region) without conflicting the side of extruded elements with the 90deg nozzle. Note that the points along this line from both sides are not aligned, which creates poly elements. Intuitively, I'd say making them aligned would be better for the simulation Also note that this happens in the corners as well, and that happens a lot with me. Any suggestions on ways to remedy this? Is this "misalignment" a problem at all? Thanks!! |
