always crashes while moving mesh?

Hi guys,
I am doing a simulation with wavy moving fish body (3D) however, when I tried to reproduce the cases in the literature, the solver always crashed due to probably the large deformation of the grid. I devoted a lot of time to solving this problem but I failed. Could you please give me some suggestions? Thanks. P.S. I tried both NACA0012 (2D) and a fish-like body (3D) either in blockMesh or snappyHexMesh. I cannot capture the reverse Karman vortex either. For the 3d case, I think only snappyhexmesh can be used, however it is too difficult to get converged results. |
