Hi there!
I am trying to mesh two different regions (yarn and air) from a disconnected STL-groups for the yarn. I managed to mesh the regions, however the names of the region are not as what I have defined. It gives me: domain1, domain3, insideZone3 and outsideZone; where I would like it to be: insideZone1, insideZone2, insideZone3 and outsideZone. I guess this is due to how i wrote my snappyHexMeshDict, but I could not figure out how can I make this right. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Cheers! |

Hi,
I'm not totally sure, but I think you should try with 3 separate STL files for your 3 inside zones. I don't think you can use 3 times the same surface (inside) in refinementSurfaces. This would explain why the only inside zone correctly defined in your final mesh is the last one in your snappyHexMeshDict (insideZone3) Hope this helps, Yann |
