Hello,
The utility 'surfaceMeshExport' exports from "surfMesh"

Quote:
surfaceMeshExport

Export from surfMesh to various third-party surface formats with optional scaling or transformations (rotate/translate) on a coordinateSystem
What is surfMesh?.
When I try to run the SurfaceMeshExport to export to a .nas format command I get an error stating

Quote:
Cannot find file "faces" in directory "surfaces/default/surfMesh" in times "0" down to constant
I have 'polymesh" directory containing the mesh. Where is "surfaces/default/surfMesh"?

Thank you.

Hello ..I am still looking for a clear answer. I suspect surfMesh is similar to polyMesh but I still haven't found where it is used ie the surfaces/default/surfMesh. Can someone please help me out?
