Hello,
I am looking for some guidance with gmsh/netgen, I am having trouble meshing my geometry with snappy so I though give it a try to gmsh/netgen for creating a tet mesh that would be later converted to a polyhedral with polyDualMesh utility. I commonly use salome as my workbench for preparing my surface for snappy (separation of patchs and surface meshing). eventhought salome integrates netgen and gmsh inside it, the issue is that it does not support multithreading meshing. so, I would like to find some guidance if some folks are working directly with netgen or gmsh code (python scripts could do the work, not necessary GUI...) where we import an step file, create the patches in the surface and then create a volume mesh of it. for example for a simple cylinder with an inlet/outlet and walls as patches. |
