I am working on chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam heat transfer problem. First, I have two regions. Out of which one region named gland is a surface where external temperature parameters are implemented. The temperature consists of zeros and variables. Say our of 1000 faces, 600 are zero temp and 400 are variable temperature.


Now, I need to change the BC of this 600 zero temperature. I am trying to use fieldToCell in TopoSet to get faces of these 600 zero temperature and convert into patch using splitMesh.


But, I am confused in using fieldToCell. I applied like below.

type cellSet;
action new;
source fieldToCell;
sourceInfo

field T;
min 0;
max 0;
}
}

But when I run topoSet, it shows as:


Cannot read field T from time 0
cellSet field1 now size 0


My question is.


1. Where does the toposet collects this fieldData so that it can create the CellSet.
2. I have a temperature file externally which 0 temp and variable temp. How to use this here?
